Dani Pedrosa was unable to compete on his return at the Australian GP, but he's doing everything he can to be ready for MotoGP in Estoril this weekend, as he explains in his latest blog
Hello,
First of all, I want to thank you for the interest you are showing in me again. I’ve been reading messages on my website and on Facebook asking how I am and whether I’m recovered, and the truth is that I’m very grateful that you’re still there with supportive messages.
The answer to your questions is that I'm better than in Australia. I'm doing work of recovery and rehabilitation every day. The bone is better, but what worries us is still the muscles, tendons... all the painful areas. That's where we really need to regain mobility and strength, which is very important.
'The first priority will be checking how I’m feeling'
For now, the recovery is going according to plan. The downside is that, as always, we don’t really know where we’ll be, and under what conditions, until we’re on the circuit on Friday.
What we won’t be doing is arriving on Friday to start serious work and changing our set-up. The first priority will be checking how I’m feeling, as it was in Phillip Island. I was looking forward to going there, but then I saw I wasn’t yet able to ride. Hopefully, in Portugal, everything will go much better.
See you in Estoril. Greetings to everyone.
