The second term of Red Bull Music Academy London is but a few weeks away, and with that in mind, new events are being added to the season daily.
12 x 12 is a unique event in partnership with War Child. The concept is relatively simple – 12 DJs/ producers. 12 London anthems. All playing for 12 minutes each. Basically it's celebrating 12 inches of pleasure, and with Hexstatic creating visuals to accompany it, it should be an audio visual TREAT.
Acts confirmed so far include Robert Owens, Guy Called Gerald, Shades Of Rhythm, Jazzie B, Zinc & Dynamite MC, Peter Hook, X-Press 2 & MJ Cole and more to be announced...
The night takes place on March 11 at London's Scala, and all proceeds from the night go to War Child, a small international charity that protects children from the brutal effects of war. They currently work in Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq and Uganda.
