Forget V8 Supercars, two-wheeled aerial specialist Robbie Maddison says his new four-wheeled dream is to race Formula 1 after a hot lap around Albert Park in the Red Bull Minardi two-seater. Well, it was more of a warm lap given the Renault broke down halfway through the run.
"I reckon it's even more exciting it broke down - I'm the only bloke to have experienced that in a two-seater, I'm stoked," Maddo laughed afterwards. "Better yet, I got picked up in the Mercedes and got to scope the track out. It was bloody unbelievable! The best experience I've ever had on four wheels.
"It's official. I've decided I want to do F1 now. That's my goal,” he joked. "I couldn't believe the accelerating. The braking and cornering was amazing."
