After chalking up an impressive points lead in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup at Vikersund, Norway, Thomas Morgenstern was able to enjoy some well-earned R&R with an exciting trip to Red Bull's Hangar 7.

Hi guys,

My "holidays" are nearly over as tomorrow I'm heading off on the Red Bull jet from Salzburg to Oslo in Norway.

Over the past few days, I've mainly focused on relaxing and recharging my batteries. Of course I’ve done some training, too - besides one jumping session in Ramsau, Styria [in Austria], I have spent a lot of time in the gym - and now I’m feeling fit and ready and looking forward to the WCS.

Yesterday, I was in Salzburg for a visit to Red Bull's amazing Hangar 7. I was invited as a guest on Sport-Talk [Red Bull TV's sport chat show] and before the broadcast I had the chance to take a seat in the car which Sebastian Vettel drove to become Formula 1 World Champion.

I nearly didn’t fit in the cockpit as my shoulders are too broad, but we finally solved the problem and, for a few minutes, I sat right in the winner's seat - it was quite an experence!

Have a look at the pictures and the video at thomasmorgenstern.com.

Best

Thomas
