Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Hiroshi Aoyama have signed a T-shirt to help raise funds for those affected by the terrible devastation in Japan.
The specially-printed T-shirt with the message 'We are for Japan' has been signed by MotoGP's biggest names and is available at weforjapan.motogp.com.
All proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts will be presented to an humanitarian organisation at the Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled to take place on October 2.
The show of support comes after the earthquake and tsunami in north eastern Japan earlier this month, the initial impact of which could be made even worse by the effects of a nuclear fall-out.
“A lot of people are suffering over there,” said Aoyama, who is also promoting Save Japan, a charity fund set up by Japanese motor sports racers. “I hope they recover as soon as possible and that we’ll see smiling faces over there again. I will support them as much as I can.”
