Neguin from Brazil is the champion of the Red Bull BC One 2010 in Tokyo. 3.000 people in the audience in Yoyogi Stadium were going crazy.

Totally unexpected, Thesis from the US, one of the favourites, lost in the first round to Toshiki much to the happiness of the Japanese fans. Taisuke, Japanese hero, also lost in the first round. The audience was utterly disappointed and the judges were obviously irritated. They knew Taisuke could have done better. It looked like he was holding back for the following rounds, but in the Red Bull BC One holding back can be fatal!

The two Koreans, Kill and Beast, also lost in their first rounds to Just Do It from Holland and Airdit from Germany. Airdit did great! He might have taken Just Do It in the quarter finals, hadn’t he lost one of his shoes! Next time we’re gonna duck-tape them to his feet.

In the battle breaks, Host Rahzel impressed with his beatboxing show, Japanese Drummers and Funkstyle dancers were a feast for ears and eyes and when old-skool rapper Big Daddy Kane brought all the Battle B-Boys onto the stage in a cipher, the whole crowd of 3.000 fans jumped off their seats and danced.

After the break, Lil G and Neguin from South America battled in the first semi-final. It was a really tight battle, but the judges gave it to Neguin 3 to 2. The second semi final battle was between Just Do It and Luigi. The “Flying Dutchman” won with flying colours!

In the final battle, Just Do It couldn’t keep up with the amazing power, attitude and finesse of the Brazilian dancer Neguin! The Brazilian “Ginga,” that mystical quality of movement and attitude, that made Brazilian soccer players the best in the world, worked its magic for Neguin tonight.
