Red Bull Music Academy - Melbourne

Sunday, 25 September saw the Melbourne leg of the Red Bull Music Academy World Tour take place at the iconic Venue The Forum, showcasing lectures, workshops, installations and interviews in the spirit of Red Bull Music Academy.

The event’s program brought together international and local musicians, producers, visual and new media artists. The intention was to collaborate and explore the notions of sonic space and the re-imagination of the zone where the audible and visual collide in a dazzling multimedia adventure within the world of beats and bass as part of the Red Bull Music Academy World Tour.

In the spirit of the Red Bull Music Academy, a producer-only lecture series was held throughout the day featuring interviews and workshops with international guests and local past academy attendees including Andreas Fox, Bryan Phillips and internationals Mike Huckaby, Tim Exile joined by Jon Dixon and DJ Skurge from Underground Resistance.
