Red Bull Music Academy 2012 will be setting up camp in New York City from September 30 to November 2 – and prospective participants have until Monday April 2 to get their applications in for what Australia’s 2011 alumnus Phoebe Kiddo dubbed “school camp for gifted mutants”.

The third night of the Red Bull Thre3style round-robin finals ramped it up a notch, and not just because there were five competitors compared to the previous two evenings’ four.
