Flugtag Sydney FAQ
For Spectators
- When and where is the event held?
Red Bull Flugtag will take place on Sunday 7 November 2010. The event site is the spectacular harbourside Yurong Precinct with familiar features such as Mrs Macquarie's Point, Fleet Steps, Northern Island and Bridge View Lawn.
- What time does the event start?
Event activities commence at 11am with the man-powered flying machines taking off shortly after. Crowd control measures will be in place to manage the flow of spectators in/out and around the site. Please allow plenty of time to move around the site if you are meeting friends.

We estimate that the last flying machine will 'fly' at 4pm with the prize ceremony to follow shortly after, however this is subject to change.

Spectator access to the event site is via Art Gallery and Mrs Macquarie's Roads. We encourage spectators to avoid entering via the QE2 Gates near the Opera House and around the sea wall due to another event (the ARIA's) being held at the Opera House. it is expected that their set up will restrict access to the QE2 gates.
