WHAT IS IT? WHAT CAN I WIN? NSW winners will be flown immediately to a mystery location for an afternoon of surfing with a Red Bull athlete. They will also receive return flights and accommodation to the Gold Coast to attend the Quiksilver Pro from 6-7 March, 2010. Runner's up win prize packs from Quiksilver and Creatures of Leisure. The Queensland prizes will be announced closer to the event. ARE THERE ANY RULES? Red Bull Heli Surf is a paddle race from the beach to a buoy through the surf out to sea. The first person to reach the buoy is winched into a helicopter and whisked away for their prize.
The first surfer to reach the Red Bull buoy from each of the six locations will be winched to the heavens, and glory, by a Red Bull chopper.
You can only paddle on a surfboard and the board can be no longer than 6 foot 6 inches and no thicker than 2.5 inches. Violence or cheating will result in disqualification.
