Who is Australia’s best party rocking DJ? Red Bull Thre3Style is an international DJ comp with a twist – it’s not just about the technical skills, but about who can rock the party the best, playing 3+ genres in a 15 minute set. Last year, five state finalists battled it out, with Melbourne’s DJ Perplex taking out the crown at the national finals in Melbourne. This year, the national finals come to Sydney, in an epic show of party-rocking headlined by Z-Trip.

There is one simple rule – the DJs must play at least three genres of music in a 15 minute set, with one simple objective – to rock the house! There are no restrictions on which genres of music are chosen so long as the DJ can make them work together. The DJs are judged by an expert panel consisting of local music industry professionals. The judging criterion includes track-selection, technical skills, originality, creativity and most importantly, the DJ’s ability to bring the house down! It doesn't matter if they know all the DJing tricks and techniques in the book, if they can’t get everyone on the dance floor, they don’t stand a chance of winning! The overall national winner taking home an extra $2000 cash plus an all-expenses paid trip to compete against the world's best in Chicago.
