- About this Video
- Red Bull Curates is decorating the front bars of Sydney’s premium watering holes into works of art. 11 of Australia’s top Lowbrow artists will use Red Bull fridges as new mediums as they transform the cool stainless steel finishes into the centrepiece of each venue’s offerings. Over the next month a curated line up by Marty Routledge including artists Beastman, Numskull, Phibs, Roachy, Thomas Jackson, Will Lynes, Esjay, Brent Smith, Well Dressed Vandals, Kerupt and Peque will be turning the humble Red Bull cooler into a work of art, using their assigned bar’s look and feel as inspiration. Venues include Upstairs Beresford, Hunky Dory, Bucket List, Lo Fi, The Standard, El Loco, Cargo Lounge, The Norfolk Hotel, The Flinders Hotel, Oxford Art Factory and Sugarmill. Coolers and artists from London and San Fran have all experienced the cooler project and now it’s Sydney’s time to shine. The 11 coolers will be revealed at an exclusive exhibition event at Lo Fi Collective in Sydney’s Surry Hills on Thursday, 29 March 2012.
